Handmade 1960s skirt suit XS UK4 / 6

This is an absolutely stunning genuine vintage 1960s suit. It comprises the most stylish of fitted jackets and is paired with a knee length pleated skirt. 
 
The jacket fastens with dainty buttons down the front and the larger button is just for decoration as it fastens behind with a hook and loop fastener. It has so many beautiful details and is so elegant. It measures 14" across the shoulders, 16" pit to pit, 22" in length and 13" across the waist. 
 
The skirt fastens with a zip at the side and delicate pearl button. It measures 24 - 25" (the button could be moved to make slightly wider) and 25" in length. It is in beautiful condition - I believe it was handmade and can find no label to speak of. I know a little of the history of it's owner - a very fashionable lady from Carmarthenshire who spent her life working in London as a teacher. She had a keen eye for fashion and made many of her own outfits. She has since moved back to Wales and I've had the pleasure of finding new homes for her wardrobe pieces.
